The end of one point but the commencement of another

An entrepreneur can be labeled as a person who possess an new idea or enterprise to the market. As an entrepreneur it is required of you to do your research and find ways to approach your idea and make it successful. Without the help of research and networking that idea can not come about.

As an entrepreneur the idea of a new product in the market can be challenging and overwhelming. Therefore an entrepreneur must have a lot of determination, passion and dedication to the develop and maintain the product. I am an entreprenuer and although my stepping stones are little and my ideas are big, i began my research.

The idea i have introduced to you before has been the voice activated smart conventional stove. The concept of the stove is to be able to feel the temperature of a certain meal and with the voice activation it should be able to tell you the temperature and when the meal is done.

Although my idea sounds complicated it is. There are many challenges that can arise with the production of my product. Challenges like the whole technical aspect of it and how we can connect and tie all the items i want all in one. Although its like a computer, it is far from one therefore it can cause me to have technical difficulties. Besides technical difficulities there are challenges like the launching of the product and having consumers invest in it. So marketing my product and advertising my product will be the most essential part of my product.

My experience with this product has been a pleasant one although it was a challenge. The idea of this project was to compare what we learned about technology, computers in particular, to our entrepreneural idea. Because my product isn't a device that is closely related to computers I utilitze the basic information of computers and compared it to my product. My knowledge of computers has helped me make my product more sucessful as an idea.

In my previous posts you can see the topics and how i compared it to my product. I used my advertising and marketing approach as well as my idea for using databases and worksheets to maintain my plans. My plans for my employees and finanacial plans as well as feedback from consumers and views from others. This product can become a reality but it would take alot more than what i know and it would take alot more research. Connections and networking is the best way of developing this idea and transforming to reality

Utilizing databases

Every business utilizes a database where they enter data and learn more about a certain topic. The most used data base program used is Microsoft Access. Microsoft access allows you to collect information and design sturctured data tables. Within the Data base there are 7 different objects that can allow you to analyze any data that is added. Those 7 different objects are table, queries, reports, forms, pages, macros and modules. Each one of the objects makes collecting any data a lot more easier to manage and obtain.

Using Microsoft can only benefit in my idea in terms of general surveys and questionnaires, in which i can give out to a community any where in the world. Once the product has developed ii can also utilize the database as a way of inputting data that indicates the usage of the product by the consumers. Utilizing this form of database will allow me to use the objects i mentioned earlier to narrow down my collected data and present it to my future colleagues.

Computer commands? conventional stove commands?

In the life of computers there are so many tricks and detailed information that can be played with in order to share files and or get information off the computer you are using. For example using basic UNIX commands like ps will enable you to get a display a list of processes which are running on the root user. Another command like df-h will allow you to get a display of the disk usage in the system. These are some of the commands that can be played with on computers.

Using Filezilla you can transfer files from websites and PC running Windows in a reliable, quick and secure way. Because the Internet is a gateway to any information anything that is shared from your computer can be attack such as your user name or password. Because of Filezilla it is easy to transfer files safely without the risk of any possible threats.

Although my idea does not really fall into the use of these UNIX commands and Filezilla, it is a great way for me as an entrepreneur to take the knowledge I have on those aspects and utilize them for when I am working with my team and transfering Ideas back and forth. Its a great way for me to keep my idea flowing without having anyone more or less stealing an invention that is mine. It may be possible to connect a simple device to the stove and a computer so that we can utilize the Unix commands just like you would on a regular PC.

Being heard!

Without voice we wouldn't be able to speak and every voice creates a sound. Sound is essential in life due to the fact that without sound we will not be aware of is around us. The creation of sound can be expressed in many ways like sound and speech. When someone speaks or sings there is always a message and meaning behind the words.

Commercial advertisements always utilize jingles to make their brands standout. Radio advertisements use scripted lines to explain in detail about their brand. The similarity about both commercial and radio advertisements is that the audio portion is what makes the commercial more affective than the images that display.

The audio in these advertisements can not only help promote my brand and my idea but it can also help me get others to be aware of the fact that this tool should always be considered for many cooking businesses. The fact that you can connect audio to a video, and transmit audio through a radio can be an advantage for this product.

Photo shopping a dream :)

According to BusinessDictionary.com, Photoshop can be defined as "an Image editing software developed and manufactured by Adobe Systems Inc. Photoshop is considered of of the leaders in photo edition software. The software allows users to manipulate, crop, resize, and correct color on digital photos."

I feel that every product that is advertised has been tweaked by Photoshop or created on Photoshop. Photoshop has been a hit for many of years and has been the #1 place for photo editing. Although editing pictures may seem like its hiding its flaws and highlighting its strengths of a product, I believe that its only an edit that can suit the dream of a person by redefining its beauty.

For my model of a smart conventional stove using a digital picture of a simple regular stove can be my foundation to creating my dream stove. From my foundation image i can use programs like Photoshop to redefine the image and add my ideas and creativity to create my stove. Although Photoshop can be a bit complicated i have the patience to figure things out and really get what i want done.

Hardware?

Every machine in the world of technology has some sense of hardware that keeps it all together. For a computer/laptop, the system unit contains many electronic components that processes data and other information. A computer has many components like the motherboard, the processor, the control unit, a memory port, etc. At times people can break down a computer and rebuild it with their eyes closed.

As for my idea of a smart conventional stove there are definitely many electronic components that it consists of. Unlike the simplicity of a computer, this machine will be much more challenging and complicated to build. With this stove the electronic component will consist of many formulas in its memory to remain a sufficient tool and it will consist of an activation of temperature and sensitivity control. Both temperature and the sense activation are the main components of this idea because it is responsible for matching the food with its correct temperature and then activate the voice.

Although a computer hardware is completely different to that of a stove there are still similarities amongst them. It is important that this idea is not so much a computer but a cooking tool. Its hard to understand what exactly is needed to build this machine but since its a combination of both a stove and a computer, we must contact places like General Electric who create many things with technology, like stoves and computers.

Excel Worksheets

Who uses a calculator, a pencil, and paper to add up their budget and expenses anymore? Technology not only has made things easier to record simple math equations but it has also made things much more organized and simple. Microsoft has exceeded in many levels to provide businesses with a way to make sure that everything spent within a budget more manageable.

Microsoft Excel spreadsheets are being used everywhere to organize data, manage budgets and expenses, create working schedules and much more. One major pro about using Microsoft is that once a person has trained to use excel correctly they can simply look and analyze any spreadsheet and understand the purpose of it. Of course things can get confusing and a little unclear on an excel sheet with functions and formulas but that is not something that can not be taught.

I look forward to use Microsoft to track how much money Ive spent creating and marketing my product. I will also be able to make sure that I stick to my budget. I can also use excel as a tool to put together charts and graphs to show the progress of my product using statistics off of a survey that can be handed out to my potential consumers as well as employees and competitors.

Twitter

In marketing there are so many ways in which businesses can promote their projects. A lot of the times the most thought of marketing tools are commercials, fliers, newspaper advertisements and word of mouth. As competition has uplifted and become more intense in our economy these marketing tools are not only expensive but they are also doing so much for the business. As time passes by and as we progress technology has played a major role in advertising businesses and their products.

One huge new way in which businesses can promote their products is through both Facebook and Twitter. Twitter has made a huge impact on a lot of businesses and products in the marketing. Twitter is "a social networking and microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read other users' messages called tweets." (Wikipedia, 2010). Twitter is easy to use and everyone uses it for a variety of reasons. It's free and businesses take advantage of the opportunity to promote and receive feedback on their products or services.

With my creation of the stove, in order to really put my idea out there and promote it I will most definitely use Twitter as a one of my marketing tools. Everyone uses twitter and everyone is always looking for something to talk about whether it may be negative of positive. For me to use Twitter I can catch a certain target market and that is the Food market. Not only would Twitter help promote my product but it can also give me the ability to receive constructive criticism as well as positive feedback. I will also be able to see what type of competition I may have and use competition as a way to make my product more successful and more improved than what is already out there.

Intro to my idea

I am a type of person who has a passion for baking and cooking and there are times where you want to mulit-task when in the kitchen. Have you ever had a huge get together and have 3 different pots on the stove all cooking at different temperatures and all of them have different cooking times but you can't watch all of them and cut the veggetables at the same time? I know many people have experienced this at least once in their lifetime.

As a cook I would like to have a stove that can speak to me and tell me the temperature rather than me turning around and looking at it. I also want my stove to be able to tell me if what I am cooking is going above the temperature and time that its being cooked. So basically I want to have a voice activated smart conventional stove.

With this age in techology, everything is touch screen and alot of technological gadgets have compurterized voice streams. For example the Apple Ipad which is a PC that is all touch screen and a GPS navigation system that speaks to you and is touch screen. All of those features have become essential in our technology and it would be nice to go beyond mobile and handheld devices and feature those things into other machines like conventional stoves.
